A Brief Introduction

Construction began on Third Avenue United Church on May 13th 1912. At the time of construction, the church was deemed the first permanent home of religion in Saskatoon. Today, Third Avenue United Chruch's sanctuary remains the third largest in Canada. Through the digital preservation effort completed in June 2012, Third Avenue United Church is now digitally archived, preserving the memory, specifications, and heritage in the event it is ever destroyed or demolished.
