Description

On the eastern side of the grounds the building fabric stems exclusively from the third construction phase: sauna, winter Apodyterium, and a big Frigidarium. Here stood the largest basin of the bath house (8,80 m x 7,70 m). Being 60 cm deep it was only suitable for water treading and not for swimming. The floor made of lime flagstones from Solnhofen has been partly restored.
